When was the last time you allowed yourself to really reach for the stars? To dream a dream so big that it scared you? To take a peak inside the life you imagine for yourself? What is stopping you from doing that right now?
Some people are finding that wrapping their vehicle is less expensive and provides more options that painting it would. Look at this wrap job for example. And guess what? I took the photo that they used!
How cool is that! The wrap job was done by my friend Paul Aquin of WrapidDesign, in Elie, Manitoba.
If you've got an idea for something you'd like to put on your truck, or car, or camper or even a boat, let me know. I can photograph it for you then connect you with Paul. It'll look amazing!
"Don't confuse your path with your destination. Just because it's stormy now
doesn't mean that you aren't headed for sunshine." - unknown
Sometimes we're afraid to dream big, and see the full potential of all that could be. Don't be! Keep your dreams front and center, and always take steps that will move you closer to them. DREAM BIG!
Kids are my all time favorite subject to photograph! They are so open, and so vibrant and so expressive...what more can a photographer ask for in a model?
There is no more magical time then the time spent with children. They open up our hearts and our eyes to things that we see as so stale and ordinary, and remind us, that nothing in this life is stale and ordinary. Every day is a gift, every moment a treasure...and if we have the chance to capture those magical moments...we should.
I read once that 'the days go slow, but the years go fast..." Don't let the years of your child's life go by without capturing the incredible moments of childhood. Once lost, it's gone forever.
As many of you know I tend to stray away from the "traditional" family photo for my personal Christmas cards. I have an idea set for this years card but was thinking maybe someone has a better idea. Do you think it could be you?
Tell me your suggestions and if I choose to use your idea instead of my own, I will take your Christmas family photo for free! You can scroll through some of my photos to see what I have already done. I will try to post a few more soon. (A little hint, I will NOT be in the photo)
I will wait until the end of November to decide.
Sometimes the most beautiful pictures come from shots of things that we've discarded or left to decay. Old vehicles, buildings, places that have lost their usefulness.
I love taking pictures of just those kinds of things. They have a certain beauty in their tiredness. The shots serve as a reminder of days gone by, that won't return again. Do you have any old relics that are important to your families story that you'd like to have preserved in a portrait? Give me a call if you do!
It's pretty barren looking around here now, most of the leaves have been taken away by all the winds we've been having blow through the prairies. Luckily, I had time to get some great pictures of some of the autumn colors before that happened!
The fall colors in Manitoba can be some of the prettiest anywhere. So many different shades of greens, yellows, golds and reds. It's one of my favorite times of year for taking pictures! Hope you enjoy them too!
Don't you love being reminded of that!! Me neither, but truth is time is going fast! Have you thought about your Christmas pictures for this year yet?
I love working with families to explore creative ideas for Christmas cards, gifts for Grand-Parents, or capturing memories at the different stages of life. Together we can put together some magic memories of another family holiday season. This page includes some of the fun I've had with my own three daughters over the years. Creating that fun is such a huge part of making the memories. So what would you like to do this year?
Okay...so, welcome to my blog page. But I should warn you... I'm a photographer. I'm not a writer or a blogger. But I thought if you're not connected to me on facebook , then this might be the best way for us to keep in touch with what's current! So remember...it's about the pictures! Enjoy them!
